About Us

Yeah, we know.
The name is a lot.

It’s pronounced “Agent Marketing.” You might have Googled “agnt mkt,” “agentmkt,” “agnt marketing,” or just given up and typed “that franchise AI chatbot thing.” Either way — you found us. Welcome.

The name

Let’s get this out of the way.

AGNTMKT is short for Agent Marketing. We dropped the vowels because we liked how it looked, we were franchise people who’d grown up in a world of abbreviated everything, and honestly — if you can survive reading an FDD, you can survive a seven-letter brand name.

It’s A-G-N-T-M-K-T. All caps. No spaces. Yes, it trips people up at first. Yes, we’ve accepted it. Yes, we’d probably name it something easier if we started over. But here we are, and frankly it’s become a bit of a litmus test: the people who take two seconds to figure it out are usually the people we end up working with.

You can call it AGNTMKT, AGNT MKT, Agnt Marketing, Agent Marketing — whatever gets you to contact@agntmkt.ai.

Origin story

We didn’t come from tech.
We came from franchising.

The team behind AGNTMKT spent over a decade on the inside of franchise brands — on the franchisor side, on the agency side, in conference rooms with marketing directors and franchise development teams trying to figure out why their websites weren’t converting.

We’ve built franchise development marketing programs. We’ve worked consumer campaigns for multi-location brands. We’ve sat in on the calls where a perfectly good lead went cold because nobody followed up fast enough, or a prospect bounced off a website because they couldn’t find a simple answer to a simple question.

We weren’t looking to build an AI company. We were looking to solve a problem we kept watching happen in slow motion.

The shift in how consumers use AI changed the equation. People started expecting to talk to brands — not fill out forms, not click through FAQs, not wait 48 hours for a callback. And most franchise brands weren’t equipped to meet that expectation at scale.

That’s the gap we built AGNTMKT to close.

What we believe

A few things we believe that most AI companies don’t say out loud.

01

AI should sound like your brand, not like a robot apologizing for not understanding.

Most chatbots are trained to handle volume. Ours are trained to handle your customers — with your voice, your knowledge, and your judgment about when to push and when to give space.

02

A bad AI experience is worse than no AI experience.

We'd rather turn down a client than deploy something that damages their brand. If we can't build it right for your business, we'll tell you that before you sign anything.

03

Franchise brands deserve tools built for how they actually work.

Multi-location, FDD-constrained, seasonally variable, franchisee-dependent — generic SaaS tools weren't built for this. We were.

Trusted by franchise brands who needed more than a chatbot.

We work with consumer brands and franchise development teams across categories like home services, wellness, beauty, and more.

FAQ

Questions about us, the name, and how we work.

If you have a question we haven’t answered here, just ask. We’d rather have a real conversation than write more copy about ourselves.

"Agent Marketing." You're not wrong if you said "agnet" or "ag-n-t-m-k-t" out loud trying to figure it out — we've heard them all. The short version: it's the same two words you'd use to describe what we do, minus the vowels.
